Tramontana yacht management takes over the full care of a yacht for her owner. One yacht manager runs crew, technical supervision, maintenance, wintering, supplies, insurance, compliance, accounting and charter. Nothing is done blind: works start from a cost estimate, the year runs on an agreed budget, and the owner gets a weekly report on condition, works and spend.

The promise

You own her.
We carry the worry.

The whole care of the yacht is ours: crew, maintenance, paperwork, suppliers, winter and charter. You stay in control because nothing happens out of sight. Every cost is estimated before it is spent, and every week you know her condition, what was done and what it cost.

BeforeA cost estimate

Every job is priced in writing and approved by you before work starts.

Every weekA report

Condition, works and spend, with photos and the plan for the week ahead.

All yearA budget

One yearly plan agreed with you, with every deviation explained.

What we take care of

24 jobs.
One manager.

Grouped the way an owner thinks about a yacht: who answers for her, where the money goes, who is aboard, how she is kept, what she carries and how she earns.

One yacht manager

One person answers for the yacht, and the paperwork behind her.

Your yacht manager
One named person in charge of the yacht and of every conversation with the owner. One number to call, one inbox, one person who knows her history.
Administration
Ship's documents, registrations and permits kept current, filed and ready for any authority, marina or charter guest that asks.
Regulatory compliance
Certificates, flag and class inspections and safety equipment tracked against their dates, renewed before they lapse and in line with the regulations.
Yacht insurance
Hull, machinery and liability cover arranged and renewed, and claims handled from the first report to settlement.

Money you can see

Every euro is planned, approved, booked and reported.

Annual yacht budget
A yearly expense plan agreed with the owner before the year starts, with spending tracked against it and every deviation explained.
Cost estimates
No work starts on a guess. Each job gets a written estimate first, so the owner approves the scope and the price before anyone picks up a tool.
Accounting
The yacht's bookkeeping, supplier invoices paid on time and every expense tracked and allocated, ready for the owner and the accountants.
Weekly reports
Every week the owner receives the yacht's condition, the works done and the money spent, with photos and what comes next.

Crew

The right people aboard, trained, paid and looked after.

Crew recruitment
Selection and hiring of qualified captains, engineers, deckhands, chefs and stewards, matched to the yacht and to the way the owner uses her.
Crew training
Education and preparation of the crew: safety drills, the yacht's systems, guest service and the standards the owner expects.
Crew payroll & contracts
Employment contracts, payroll, registrations and crew travel expenses handled on time and by the book.

Technical care

Looked after all year, including the months the owner is away.

Technical supervision
Regular inspections of the yacht's condition throughout the year, aboard and below the waterline, whether the owner is on board or not.
Maintenance plan
An annual service schedule for engines, generators and every other system, so maintenance happens on time instead of after a failure.
Service & repair coordination
Urgent interventions and breakdowns in the season organised fast, with the right technician and the parts, wherever the yacht is.
Yacht works management
Organisation and supervision of works, mainly winter maintenance: contractors booked, quality checked, schedule and budget held.
Wintering
Winter preparation, haul-out and storage in a marina or a hangar, then recommissioning before the season.
Berth arrangement
Finding and contracting berths in marinas, for the season, for the winter and for passages in between.

Supplies & storage

Everything the yacht needs is aboard, and everything she doesn't is kept safe.

Yacht outfitting
Procurement and outfitting of the yacht with everything she needs, from safety gear and spares to linen, tableware and water toys.
Yacht suppliers
A network of trusted suppliers and the organisation of yacht provisioning, at agreed prices and on time.
Provisioning
Food, drinks and consumables delivered aboard for the owner, the guests and the crew.
Storage
Storage of the yacht's belongings and equipment ashore: tenders, toys, cushions, spare sails and seasonal kit.

Charter

When the owner isn't aboard, the yacht can earn.

Charter management
Organisation and management of the yacht's charter programme: calendar, contracts, crew and guest preferences, turnarounds between charters.
Marketing
Promotion of the yacht for charter: photography, listings, online presence and the charter platforms.
Charter agent relations
Building and keeping strong relationships with the charter agents who bring the bookings.
